Credit cards, travellers cheques and US currency are accepted virtually everywhere on the island.
Is there a dress code at Smugglers Cove?
The tropical climate and relaxed atmosphere of St. Lucia lend themselves to casual attire. Shoes must be worn, bathing suits must be covered and men are required to wear shirts with sleeves in all restaurants. After 6 pm, nice casual attire (no shorts or shorts ensembles) is suggested.
Do I need a special adapter for the electrical outlets in my room?
Electric current is the same as in the US, so no special adapters are needed. The electricity in St. Lucia is 110 and 220 voltage.

Upon leaving, a per person departure tax is payable at the airport. St. Lucia is in the Atlantic Time Zone, but do not observe Daylight Savings Time. In the winter months, we are 4 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and in the summer months we are 5 hours behind British Summer Time. Throughout the winter months, we are one hour later than US Eastern Standard Time, while in the summer we are on the same time as Eastern Daylight Time.
